Shining a light in the darkness

November 20th

Approximately 40 Million people
are forced into modern day slavery around the world.
25% of those are children.

In America alone, thousands of children are exploited for labor and sex.
The average age of entry is 10-13 years old.
This needs to end.
To raise awareness for child trafficking, we have created a nationwide event on
Saturday, November 20th, Universal Children’s Day, Lights On for Children.

We are inviting our friends, neighbors, and communities to participate by purchasing a blue light bulb and putting it in their porch light. Then, on the evening of November 20th, turn on the blue light to shine a light in the darkness for children and help raise awareness about child exploitation.

This event is also a reminder to the children, who may have run away, to know they are loved, and we want them to come home, whether it’s their own, a friends, a safe house – we want them to feel safe.

In previous years, we lit up the night all over the world. From Canada to Africa to the Bahamas and America. We invite you to join in and team up with us this year.
